Granite is a common and widely-occurring type of intrusive felsic igneous rock, and as such is one of the hardest of all natural materials. This makes it ideal for worksurfaces.
Granite is always a classic and timeless choice and as each block and subsequent slabs are different it provides a totally unique option. Many of the materials now available have stunning colours and patterns that set it apart from bland and boring man made materials. Granite is also available in textured and matt finishes as well as the high gloss polished finish normally associated with this stone.
For peace of mind and the ultimate protection all our granite worktops are supplied sealed with Dry Treat Stain Proof. This means further applications of sealer by the end user are not necessary.
We can also supply natural Quartzite that has a similar appearance to marble but without the problems of acid etching. It also has a similar hardness to granite so makes it ideal for kitchen work surfaces.
